Strategic Planning & Action Steps: Work with your coach to develop a personalized action plan that includes realistic steps, timelines and strategies. This phase includes giving you practical tools to develop habits, time management tips and strategies to tackle and challenges along the way.

Have questions about life coaching?

  • Life coaching aims to guide individuals toward achieving specific life goals, while psychotherapy addresses mental health challenges and often explores underlying patterns. However, our clinic offers life coaching through psychotherapists, so you’re able to experience both healing and growth through this process.

  • While life coaching is not covered by OHIP at this time, our services are provided by Registered Psychotherapists or Registered Social Workers, who may be covered by your extended health insurance plans for mental health services. All of our life coaching sessions include elements of psychotherapy so you can experience both healing and growth, leading to more successful outcomes.

  • Life coaching can help with a range of goals, including career advancement, personal growth, relationship building, improved health habits, and achieving life balance.

  • Life coaching typically lasts from anywhere between 3-6 months, depending on your goals, how often your sessions are, and your commitment to the work between sessions. You will work with your coach to develop a plan and timeline that will work best for your needs.
